Assistant Referee 25 U-17 or higher Games (not COED)

Complete State Grade 6 Referee Upgrade Clinic

Written exam

80% minimum on State Referee exam

Complete State Grade 5 Referee Upgrade course (usually held in August)

80% minimum on State / National exam

3 National Assessments as Referee by 3 different National Assessors, two on
 Division 1 or higher affiliated Men or Women games (not coed), one on Top Level U18 or
higher Youth game.
1 National Assistant Referee Assessment by National Assessor on
Division 1 or higher affiliated Men or Women games (not coed)
